As a club we take safeguarding extremely seriously and are proud to have successfully attained the ‘Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts’ award. This award demonstrates our commitment to upholding a duty of care to our community and young people and recognises that we have reached and maintained good safeguarding standards.

We have designated Jackie Sheldon (pictured below) to act as our club’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Jackie can provide an expert response to any safeguarding concerns. Her personal email address is jackie@maxlex.co.uk or you can speak to her at the club.
